Hubbard Avenue Diner, downtown, can always be counted on for holiday-themed sugar cookies. Pre-order specialty cakes, as well, or walk in and walk out with pie by the slice or pan! Hubbard’s bakery offers multiple flavors in cake and pie (to view the full list, go to its website and click on “pre-order bakery”), and the diner features new pie flavors every month!

  • March: Irish cream, mint Oreo, cookie dough, and Badger berry
  • April: Banana cream, lemon meringue, and caramel apple walnut
  • May: Kentucky Derby, blackberry sour cream, and apple cherry

Local teacher by day and baker by night, Krenare’s Custom Desserts, offers an array of custom dessert options including cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, chocolate-covered strawberries, and more. Miggy’s Bakes offers the cutest cookie dough cups in town, ranging in flavors like Smore, cookie butter, peanut butter, cheesecake and brownie cups. This local baker also makes cakes by pre-order and specialty cookies and bars, everything from chocolate chip to cookies and cream to salted caramel cheesecake. Walk in or order online! In March, there are also four spring-themed cake decorating classes to choose from.
