Grant Program
Visit Middleton offers a substantial grant and sponsorship program for events, conferences and meetings, which also include sports and athletic conferences and conventions (see Meetings for more). But for those sporting events coming to the area, such as cross-country ski events, hockey games and more, Visit Middleton partners with the Madison Area Sports Commission to bring these sport events to Dane County. THE ICE AGE TRAIL
A 1,000-mile trail through land
sculpted by a receded glacier. Walk the trail in segments or as a whole through beautiful landscapes.

Circus World Museum — Once the Ringling Brothers’ winter quarters, this site was transformed into a museum in 1959, entertaining families ever since. Visit 64 acres, the Ringling Bros. Circus Train shed complex and more than 260 circus wagons. Seasonal live performances. Open spring through fall.
International Crane Foundation — Working worldwide toward the conservation of cranes and their habitats, tour the 300- acre headquarters featuring 15 of the world’s crane species.
