Lakeview Park trail is one mile long and fully paved. Hiking, biking and dogs (on leash only) are permitted here. Along the way, users will find restrooms, benches, drinking fountains, a splash pad, shelters, and four piers which offer access to fishing. 

There are several entrances to the trail:

  • South entrance – Mendota Avenue (designated parking lot)
  • Southeastern entrance – intersection of Mendota Avenue and Allen Boulevard
  • West entrance – Branch Street
  • North entrance -Maywood Avenue
  • East entrance – Allen Boulevard north of Mendota Avenue.
