About
Capital Brewery specializes in brewing German-style lagers and has won over 240 medals. The indoor Bier Stube and Grain Room is open to the general public in the fall/winter. The Bier Garten is open in the Spring and Fall, and offers live music and food vendors several days of the week. With a performance stage, waterproof tent, bar and picnic tables, it can accommodate up to 1,200 people, and serves as the hub of the Capital Brewery Bike Club.

Capital Brewery offers a versatile and inviting setting for events of all kinds, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. With three unique spaces available, the brewery can host everything from rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions to bridal showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, business meetings, holiday parties and fundraisers. Live music and private tours can also be incorporated to elevate any event.
For smaller, more intimate occasions, the Bier Stube and newly remodeled Grain Room provide warm, character-filled indoor spaces. The Grain Room can host 50 – 75 guests on its own or expand to 155 when combined with the Bier Stube. The Bier Stube, rich in history and charm, features a genuine Brunswick bar from a Chicago speakeasy and views of imported German copper brew kettles, accommodating 50 – 80 guests, or up to 155 when paired with the Grain Room.
For larger celebrations, the outdoor Bier Garten is available May through October and offers a lively atmosphere complete with a performance stage, tent covering, bar and picnic tables. This space can accommodate up to 500 guests and is ideal for weddings, concerts and community events.
