Gallery Night is a long-time Madison-area arts tradition that showcases the city and its surrounding areas’ vibrant arts community. Organized by MMoCA, Gallery Night offers art lovers and art novices alike an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of exhibitions, opening receptions, special events, and demonstrations at venues throughout Madison and Middleton. During Gallery Night, dozens of venues open their doors to invite the public in to see and shop for original artwork.
Gallery Night takes place from 5–9 PM, though some participating venues set their own hours. All venues participating in Gallery Night are open free of charge.
Middleton Locations:
- Inspiring Hope Ministries, 7425 University Avenue: Anastasia Wilson, an artist with CP and explores her communication device through her images
- John/Christine Designs, 1835 Parmenter Street: Jeff Dallas, an artist who paints pieces that highlight landscape through the lenses of Cubism and Romanticism, and John Strobel, an award-winning jewelry artist.
- Little Pop Color Shop, 1833 Parmenter Street: Halie Struck, creates artwork composed of bold florals and beautiful portraits
- Middleton Visitor Center, 1811 Parmenter Street: Erin Summers, whose oil paintings are inspired by her global travels (open until 7:45 p.m.)
- National Mustard Museum, 7477 Hubbard Avenue: Simona Aizicovici, creates art using pressed plant materials
- The Regal Find, 1834 Parmenter Street: Michael Braley, creates iconic scenes of Wisconsin using low poly art where the texture and lighting dictate the flow and placement of shapes
