September and early October are the best times to see fall color in Middleton and there are plenty of fun ways to take it all in!
- Swing the clubs at Pleasant View Golf Course. Here you’ll find a stunning panoramic view of Madison, with the chance to check out 27 holes of championship golf across three, nine-hole courses, plus a par-3, executive 9-hole course. Lined with gorgeous trees, the fall foliage is fabulous here.
- Hike and birdwatch your way through the densely-wooded Pheasant Branch Conservancy. Reds, oranges and yellows are ablaze in this beautiful protected area.
- Hop on the Middleton trolley and take the loop around the city. You’ll visit downtown, Greenway Station and more on this relaxing trip and take in all the different scenery Middleton has to offer in the fall.
- Bike Middleton’s nationally-recognized community trail system. Whether you head out to Madison, Devil’s Lake or just through the conservancy and the city, you’ll glide through canopies of amazing foliage.
