Whether it’s called soccer or fútbol, fans will have plenty to celebrate from June 11 through July 19. As international teams take the pitch across North America, Middleton offers plenty of places to watch many of the 104 matches, enjoy great food and drinks and cheer alongside fellow fans. Here are some of the best spots to catch the action.
Places to Watch
• Monk's Bar & Grill – Monk's will show four matches a day during the tournament's first 17 days. Stop in for game day specials while cheering on your favorite teams.
• The Free House Pub – Catch Team USA matches at The Free House Pub. Fans wearing one of the pub's limited-edition shirts to any match receive buy-one-get-one drink pricing. Wear the shirt during a Team USA match and score a free order of cheese curds.
• Toro y Pampa – It is no surprise Toro y Pampa will be cheering on Argentina. The restaurant serves authentic Argentine cuisine and will show all of Argentina's matches. Soccer fans will also want to snap a photo with the massive Lionel Messi mural on the side of the building.
• Compadres Mexican Restaurant – Compadres is celebrating throughout the tournament with match-specific specials. Fans can even score free tequila shots for every Team USA or Mexico goal. Check the restaurant's Facebook to see what specials are planned for each match.
• Tanner's Bar & Grill – Tanner's is a great spot to catch the action with plenty of TVs, classic game-day fare and an energetic sports bar atmosphere.
• Nitty Gritty – Watch matches while enjoying daily drink specials at Nitty Gritty. Find a full schedule of specials, match times and which games will feature audio on the restaurant's website.
• Craftsman Table & Tap – With five large screens showing every match, Craftsman Table & Tap makes it easy to follow the tournament from kickoff to the final whistle.
• The Kickback Bar – The Kickback Bar plans to show Team USA matches, with additional games announced on Facebook. Between matches, head to the patio to try soccer pool for a fun twist on the game.
• La Pollera Colombiana –Experience authentic cuisine at La Pollera Colombiana while supporting Team Colombia during their tournament matches.

Kick it in Middleton
If watching the matches leaves soccer fans wanting to take the field themselves, Middleton has plenty of room to play. The city features seven soccer fields, including one at Middleton Hills South Park, two at Orchid Heights Park and four at Penni Klein Park.
