Pet-friendly getaway guide

Travelers to Middleton don’t have to leave their four-legged friends at home. Middleton has parks, facilities and more that accommodate furry guests so your special friend is guaranteed a doggone good time. Here are some tips for bringing your pet to Middleton that are sure to get everyone’s tail wagging.

Find pet-friendly lodging

Book a room with Fido! Staybridge Suites Middleton/Madison West and Residence Inn Madison West/Middleton both allow pets (extra fees may apply).

Use a doggy day care

When you’re shopping or exploring Middleton’s attractions, consider using one of Middleton’s dog daycares. Dogtopia and Happy Dogz will take good care of your furry friend.

Head to the dog park

Middleton has two parks that cater to doggy visitors. MRD Dog Exercise Area is a 3-acre dog park featuring a shade shelter, picnic trails, a fenced agility course, portable restrooms, dog waste disposal bags and mowed trails. Penni Klein Park is a community park with a six-acre fenced area designed as an off-lease exercise area for dogs. Daily visitor permits are available for both parks.

Enjoy pet-friendly dining

Many of our restaurants with outdoor dining can accommodate well-behaved dogs. Check with a restaurant to see its policy, but you can see a list of restaurants with outdoor dining here.
