Celebrating Mother’s Day is all about moms, and those who have stepped in when a mom was needed, and what better way to celebrate this person than with a meal that requires no cooking or cleaning or planning?

Sunday Tasty Eats (May 10, 2026)

Longtable Beer Café, open 3 to 10 p.m., with a “Cheers to Mom” special. Moms can enjoy one complimentary drink (up to $10) with a meal purchase. Additionally, Longtable is offering a featured menu item, steak-frites and seasonal desserts.

Paul’s Neighborhood Bar, open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., with breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Prime rib breakfast available (while supplies last).

Hubbard Avenue Diner, open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., with breakfast served all day and a two-sauce lasagna special served with a garlic baguette from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and don’t forget about the diner’s famous pies and other baked goods offered in-store or for preorder. Or surprise mom with breakfast in bed with take-n-bake cinnamon rolls or strawberries and cream biscuits.

Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call for reservations. Special Mother’s Day brunch menu available online.

Craftsman Table & Tap, open 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., offers a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring all the brunch classics and more. Reservations are recommended. The buffet is $54 for adults, $15 for children ages five to twelve and children under five eat free.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., offers Bubbles & Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch menu features irresistible shareable salted caramel doughnuts along with eight sweet or savory brunch specials. Guests can also add a classic mimosa or brunch sangria for $5. For those celebrating early, Cooper’s Hawk is offering a Mother’s Day menu from May 7 to May 10, with special options like surf & turf, and blue-crab stuffed lobster tails. Reservations are recommended and can be made online.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House will open early for Mother’s Day with reservations from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online.

Trio Ramen, open 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., is celebrating all moms with a complimentary mimosa and sesame ball.

Middleton Sports Bowl is serving up a hearty Mother’s Day breakfast buffet from 8 a.m. to noon featuring eggs, hash browns, bacon, ham and sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit and pastries. Guests can also enjoy pancakes and fresh toast made to order. Reservations are accepted for large groups and walk-ins are welcome.

Sweet Treats

Not looking for a full meal, but a special sweet? Here are a few places creating special treats for preorder or same-day pickup:

Grace Coffee Co. is baking up an assortment of special treats and baked goods for Mother’s Day, including tart packs, macarons and specialty croissant boxes. Preorders must be placed at least three days in advance, with pickup available on Saturday, May 9, or Sunday, May 10.

Clasen’s European Bakery, stop in or place orders now for any of their hundreds of items, including tortes, pastries, pies, cookies, quiches and so much more. Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to try Clasen’s new Dubai torte. Orders placed online are available for pickup on Monday and Wednesday through Saturday. Clasen’s is closed on Sundays.

Miggy’s Bakes, open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is still time to get special Mother’s Day treats like mini heart cakes, fruit tarts, themed sugar cookies or even a cookie cake. Preorders are very limited and close on Thursday, May 7, (or earlier if sold out), for pickup on Saturday, May 9. Miggy’s is closed on Sundays.

Lane’s Bakery is known for its kringles, cakes and cookies, especially during Mother’s Day weekend. Stop in for a selection of freshly made sweet treats perfect for celebrating Mom.

Mother’s Day weekend hours are Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Preorders are recommended 48 hours in advance, but display cases will also be stocked with plenty of delicious options ready to take home.

The Brioche Box is serving up Mother’s Day weekend specials: peaches and cream and caramelized banana cream topped with house-made toffee bits, in addition to its signature flavor rotation. Open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the bakery offers preorders through its website as well as a limited number of walk-in items for those who miss the ordering window.

The National Mustard Museum has a special gift in mind for moms — stop by for their limited “Mother’s Day Mustards,” which range from Zesty Horseradish to Champagne Honey.

Fun Floral

Don’t forget the flowers! Here are some spots to find the perfect bouquet.

Promise Floral & Gift Studio has an assortment of unique and beautifully crafted floral arrangements. Choose from more than a dozen different arrangements of varying sizes priced at $50 – $140. Next-day delivery is available for select locations and can be ordered here.

Visit Metro Market grocery store to select from more than 40 options, ranging from $5 – $50. Customers can visit the store in person to pick the perfect bouquet or preorders can be placed online here.

The Greenway Station Farmers Market frequently offers freshly cut flowers. During May, shoppers can find in-season blooms such as tulips and daffodils. Stop by the first market day of the season, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 7, to explore flower options and availability.

Miggy’s Bakes is branching out from sweet treats and offering Mother’s Day floral bouquets for $20. Preorder by Thursday, May 7, for pickup on Saturday, May 9. Miggy’s is closed on Sundays.

Cloth & Metal, a clothing boutique downtown, is extending its gratitude to shoppers this Mother’s Day weekend by gifting a free mini floral arrangement with every purchase of $50 or more, starting Thursday, May 7, through Saturday, May 9. This is offered to all shoppers.

Poppy Home & Gift is celebrating Mother’s Day with a hands-on floral experience May 8 and 9. With any $50 purchase, create your own DIY bouquet using a mix of fresh blooms, delicate buds and lush greens.
