To ensure you can get a caffeine boost before guests arrive, Barriques is open 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. If looking to host a coffee bar at your Thanksgiving gathering, Barriques offers 96-ounce coffee boxes, referred to as “Joes To-Go,” which come with cups, cream, sugars and stir sticks, all for $24.95. A 24-hour notice is preferred when ordering party-sized coffee carriers. Also available at Barriques is a wide variety of canned beer and full bottles of wine and spirits, many of which are local and perfect to bring to a party.

Items available for preorder include raspberry bread ($12.99) and a variety of pies: apple, Dutch apple, blueberry, cherry, lemon meringue, pumpkin and pecan ($14.99 – 25.99). Pre-order cut Tuesday, Orders can be placed over the phone or in person and must be picked up by 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Enjoy Thanksgiving at one of Middleton’s newest restaurants: Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant. They will serve a complete Thanksgiving meal in the dining area and also offer a delicious heat-and-serve take-home package curated by their culinary team. The in-person meal is priced at $36.99 per adult and $15.99 for kids aged 12 and under. The menu includes butternut squash soup, slow-roasted turkey, stuffing, glazed green beans and carrots, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and a pumpkin praline cheesecake. Make your reservation here.
For those interested in the take-home option, their Thanksgiving kit serves up to six people and costs $210.99. It includes all the same items as the in-person meal, along with their signature pretzel bread and instructions for easy reheating on Thanksgiving Day. Take-home pre-sale can be ordered here until Friday, Nov. 21, and kits can be collected on Wednesday, Nov. 26, or Thursday, Nov. 27.

Grace Coffee Co. in Downtown Middleton isn’t just known for its coffee but also its bakery section. For Thanksgiving, Grace Coffee Co. offers a special bakery menu, which features a variety of pies, cheesecakes, quiche and more. All preorders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 24, and can be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 26, or Thursday, Nov. 27. Order through the Grace Coffee mobile app or their website. Bakery preorders include pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie, French silk pie, pumpkin pie and a ham and cheese or veggie quiche. Making its debut this year is the pumpkin deluxe pie, a dreamy mix of pumpkin pie, creamy pumpkin cheesecake, and toasted pecans.

Did someone say sweet potato casserole? How about in a hard cider form? Among Hidden Cave Cidery’s list of ciders available in November is the Sweet Potato Casserole specialty cider. This cider is crafted with roasted sweet potatoes, nutmeg, dark brown sugar, marshmallow fluff and fermented Wisconsin apples. A variety of other cider flavors can also be purchased in Hidden Cave Cidery’s tasting room or at local liquor stores. New this year the Cidery is releasing hard cider made from historic apple varieties from France and England

Hubbard Avenue Diner is the place to go if you want to bring some pie to the party. This local diner features more than a dozen different flavors of pie and a variety of other baked goods, including cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and dinner rolls. Preorders for holiday pies and baked goods can be placed through this link by Nov. 21. Hubbard will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, so all items must be picked up by 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26.
In addition to their year-round pie flavors, holiday featured pie options are available only through Thanksgiving and include apple double crust (vegan), apple cranberry double crust (vegan), pecan, pecan chocolate chip, pumpkin chocolate chip, sweet potato, and, of course, pumpkin. Hubbard even offers select take-and-bake options to allow you to wow your guests with your baking skills (we won’t tell that you didn’t make them from scratch). Ready to eat pies are $22.49 and take n’ bake options are $21.99. Each pie serves six slices.
