By Bus

Middleton is served by the F and R Metro Transit bus lines, both of which can connect you to downtown. Use Metro Transit's real-time tracker to plan your trip. See exact stops for each location below. Tip: Route F is the closest to the Middleton hotels.

To Camp Randall

Weekend Route:

For the most straightforward option, ride route R to downtown Madison with no transfers and get off at University at N. Breese for a short walk to the stadium. Staying on for two more stops will drop you at W. Johnson at N. Orchard.

Route F loops around the outside of Middleton and connects with Madison’s new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line. Take the F to Sheboygan at N. Segoe, ask your driver for a transfer pass, then cross to the median to board the A Line. With just four stops, you’ll reach downtown quickly. Get off at the Orchard stop and walk down N. Camp Randall Ave.

Weekday Route:

On weekdays, route R runs as usual, but you can also take route F for a direct trip with no transfer. It drops you at Orchard, about a nine-minute walk to the stadium.

Weekend Route:

Take the F to Sheboygan at N. Segoe, ask your driver for a transfer pass, then cross to the median to board the A Line. Then wait for 5 stops and get off at East Campus.

Weekday Route:

Take route F toward Capitol Square and get off at the East Campus stop, or hop on route R to W Johnson at East Campus. Both options are direct with no transfer, and the fastest route will depend on where you’re coming from in Middleton.

Weekend Route:

Take the F to Sheboygan at N. Segoe, ask your driver for a transfer pass, then cross to the median to board the A Line and get off at Paterson.

Weekday Route:

Take the F to Sheboygan at N. Segoe, ask your driver for a transfer pass, then cross to the median to board the A Line. Take the A line to the Paterson stop. Or take the F to W Johnson at State, cross the street to the W Johnson at State and take the D bus to E Johnson at N Paterson where you'll get off and walk two blocks to the field.

Parking near Camp Randall can be a bit of a hunt. While some street parking exists, many nearby homes and businesses rent out driveways and lots during major events. Arrive early for the best options and for a chance to score free street parking. No matter where you park, plan to walk a few blocks to the stadium.

To the Kohl Center

To the Kohl Center

Free parking near the Kohl Center is extremely limited. If you want to try your luck, the neighborhood east of the venue near Mifflin Street tends to be your best bet. Parking ramps are available nearby, but they fill up quickly, so arriving early is key. Expect special-event pricing.

  • Lots 48 and 78 offer ADA parking on a first-come, first-served basis starting four hours before the concert (map here).
  • Other nearby options include lot P (current availability), lot 7, and lot 83 (real-time availability).
  • Lots 29, 46, and 87 (wheelchair accessible) can be pre-purchased through Wisconsin Athletics; purchase information will be posted here when available.
