Several entry points for the trails include an entrance off Prairie Glade Road and one off Pheasant Branch Road. The 1.19-mile long trail system is made of gravel and is suitable for hiking. Biking is allowed in the northern part of the trail.

The trail passes through Middleton Hills South Park, which has a picnic area, playground, shelter, water fountain and sand volleyball court.
