Lakeview Park
About
Lakeview Park is Middleton’s largest community park. Covering 80 acres, users will love the open play field, multiple playgrounds, baseball diamond, *tennis courts, soccer fields, LifeTrail Exercise Stations and hiking trails. A wide paved path surrounds a small but scenic pond with accessible piers that can be used for fishing. There is also a picturesque gazebo nearby and a large shelter with restroom and kitchen facilities, available by reservation (see venue description below).
The park features Middleton’s only splash pad, which is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day (weather permitting).

*As of June 2, 2026, the tennis courts are under construction to upgrade to two ADA-compliant tennis courts and six pickleball courts with two viewing areas and bike parking. On-street parking on Mendota Avenue and parking lot parking will be limited near the construction site. The project is not anticipated to impact park activities. The project is expected to be complete in spring 2026. Check construction status here.

Venue Rental Info
The Lakeview Park Shelter was renovated in the summer of 2020. You have the option to rent the gazebo, the large outdoor space, the smaller outdoor shelter, and the indoor space (including the kitchen), or a bundle of the indoor shelter and the large outdoor shelter. - Tables: Ten 6ft round tables; ten 5ft round tables, four 2.5ft W x 6ft L rectangular folding tables
- Chairs: 100 folding chairs
- Amenities: Kitchenette with full-size fridge/freezer, serving window, gas fireplace, projector, projector screen, air conditioning, cleaning supplies, patio access
Gazebo
