History, music & sweets: Ice Cream Social set downtown

Love history, beautiful old buildings and pie and ice cream? The Middleton Area Historical Society is hosting a pie and ice cream and all are invited.

The Middleton Area Historical Society is inviting all to join for a Pie and Ice Cream Social from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in downtown Middleton. (Rain date is June 23) Buy a slice of pie curbside from Hubbard Avenue Diner and cross the street to Middleton Commons (next door to City Hall) and get a FREE scoop of ice cream from MAHS and listen to a free concert by New Horizons Band Ensembles.

Some picnic tables will be available but you can bring your own blankets or lawn chairs to hang out.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the historical society.

The Rowley House Museum will be open for tours that evening, as well. Visit the Rowley House Museum’s website for the most current hours of operation or to book a tour on a separate day.

While in Middleton, take advantage of the historical society’s Historic Landmark Tour (will need transportation, as many sites are far apart) and the Historic Walking Tour (primarily downtown).
