Holiday fun is happening in Middleton!
It all kicks off Saturday, November 19 at 2pm. At the historical museum, you’ll find horse and wagon rides and miniature pony cart rides. From 2:30-4pm at the senior center, there’ll be cookie decorating and a craft sale. Stop by the library at 4pm for Winter Wonderland story time (and drop off some food donations for Middleton Outreach Ministry!). Then at 4:30, make your way to city hall for an ugly sweater contest and a holiday Name that Tune game! At 5:15pm, Santa arrives to light the city’s holiday tree. Find details and locations here.
The fun continues on November 26 with Small Business Saturday and the fourth annual holiday open house, also in downtown Middleton. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making appearances around the downtown between 10am and 2pm and horse and wagon rides will be available between 11am and 2pm. Downtown businesses will be offering special discounts and treats, so get working on your holiday list and support local businesses at the same time. Be sure to stop and enjoy the carolers and holiday decorations while you’re shopping too! For times and locations, click here.
Later in the evening, visit the Middleton Performing Arts Center for the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra’s annual Holiday Pops concert. This year’s performance features the Isthmus Brass Ensemble, a group of 11 local musicians, and the Middleton High School choir. It’s two hours of holiday favorites sure to put you in a festive mood, beginning at 8pm on November 26. Buy tickets online here.
