If you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family on Halloween weekend, check out the Haunted Hustle!
Going on Saturday and Sunday, October 29 and 30, racers of all ages and abilities can don their favorite costume and hit the streets of Middleton and the beautiful Pheasant Branch Conservancy! There are marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K events going on and registration is still open!
For families, there’s also a 5K Stroller Derby so the little ones can ride along and kids’ races of .25, .5 and 1 mile distances. All the profits from the kids’ race registrations goes directly to Tri 4 Schools, an organization dedicated to ending childhood obesity through health and fitness initiatives.
Saturday night’s racers will end with a post-race bonfire, s’mores and live music and Sunday’s participants will be treated to the Haunted Hustle Finish Festival at the end of their journey.
To add to the fun, there’s a costume contest too, with the top three most creative folks in each race taking home a cash prize.
