The Middleton Democrats neighborhood team will host a  nonpartisan Meet the Candidates Forum featuring individuals vying for the position of Mayor and members of the Middleton Common Council . The Forum will be held on Wednesday, March 22 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Middleton Public Library, 7425 Hubbard Avenue.

Participating are Mayoral Candidates Emily Kuhn and Kathy Olson. Participating Council candidates are: District 1 — Cornell Ellerby and John Schaffer; District 3 — Lucas Morgan and Katy Nelson; District 5 — Jeffrey Jackson, and District 7 — David Lorman.

The moderator for the event will be Michelle Phillips, editor of the Middleton Cross Plains Times Tribune. The format will include short introductory remarks by the candidates followed by a moderated question/answer session. Questions posed will cover the areas of interest to Middleton residents including clean energy, conservation, public safety, Middleton Municipal Airport, and affordable housing. There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

Middleton Democrats is a volunteer local group formerly known as the Middleton Area  Progressives and is affiliated with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
