Neurofibromatosis Midwest is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization that is dedicated to the increasing number of men, women, and children challenged by Neurofibromatosis (NF), a fairly rare genetic disorder. Since 1982, we’ve been dedicated to continuing our work to educate, comfort, improve clinical care, and fund research for treatments and a cure.

To do our work, we rely on a series of annual walks, entitled “Great Steps Walk 4NF”, that are held throughout the Midwest.  Each year, folks gather at our walks to build community between those impacted by Neurofibromatosis (NF), raise awareness about the genetic disorder, and raise funds for NF Midwest to carry out our mission to improve the lives of people with NF. 

Our 2019 Walk 4NF Wisconsin will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2019 beginning at the Capital Brewery in Middleton, WI. This will be a festive, fun-filled and family oriented day. The 2019 financial goal for our Great Steps 4NF Wisconsin Walk is to raise $25,000.
