Explore the history, culture, and foods that made Louisiana a true melting pot. We will explore by ingredients and/or culture, sampling foods that contributed to the main dish of the state, Gumbo.
Join Steffry to discuss the traditions and history that make Louisiana what it is today. On the menu: Cajun Fried Rice, Bourbon Chicken, and Yakamein. Everyone will make a seasoning packet to take home as well! Laissez les bon temps rouler. Recipes contain: milk. Demonstration with limited hands-on opportunities.
Ages 13+. $30 for co-op members/owners and $40 for non-owners.
