Join the captains at Marshall Boats to experience the diverse landscapes that we have here in Madison!
This is an adventurous yet stress-free multi-vessel excursion where you will travel from Madison’s bustling downtown to the quiet bliss of the Pheasant Branch Conservancy with the help of their knowledgeable staff. Starting at the Edgewater in Downtown Madison, we will pick you up in a comfortable pontoon boat to travel across the south side of Lake Mendota, Madison’s largest lake.
Then stop at Marshall Park to transition into kayaks and paddle down to Pheasant Branch Conservancy to enjoy the scenes of the beautiful wetland with diverse vegetation and animal species. On this route, you will explore Madison from the water, passing by The Memorial Union, Picnic Point, the layered sandstone bluffs near Raymer’s Cove, the Lakeshore Path, the historic Boathouse Association, and stunning lakeside homes.
