Historic Downtown Middleton Stroll ‘N Tell

Learn about Middleton’s history by taking a stroll with retired City Administrator and former Middleton Area Historical Society board member Mike Davis. There are several Stroll N’ Tell’ s throughout the summer, all from 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m (full list of dates below).

The tours are leisurely strolls and are free. All will start from and end at the Rowley House, 7410 Hubbard Avenue (on-street parking available), which will be open at least one-half hour prior to stroll time. Strollers should anticipate a 1 hour and 45 minute tour. Wear comfortable shoes! If it’s raining, it can be inside the museum or on our covered porch.  The walk is free but please RSVP.

The Stroll ‘N Tell is Open to All!

Anyone can join in on the Stroll ‘N Tell, but if you happen to KNOW you are coming, or bringing a group with you, the volunteers do request that you RSVP online so they know approximately how many folks to expect on this guided walking tour.

Middleton Area Historical Society

The MAHS resides within the historic Rowley House Museum and is entirely run by volunteers. The historical society hosts several activities throughout the year, including a Pie Social, Stroll ‘N Tell history walks, Rowley House tours, and community events like Downtown Trick-or-Treating and the Holiday Tree Lighting.

Chili Cook-off: A Showdown of Local Flavors

January 15, 2026 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Holy Wisdom for their first-ever chili cook-off featuring acclaimed chefs Evan Dannells, Dan Marek and Felipe Saint-Martin. Each chef will prepare a unique chili dish featuring local ingredients sourced from their favorite local farmers. Guests will then vote to crown the chili champion.
