Peak Bird Migration Nature Adventure

Join Friends of Pheasant Branch Education Chair Tim Hansel on a free, fun educational bird walk for all ages and skill levels at beautiful Pheasant Branch at 1:30 p.m., April 25. This time of year is peak migration for many species of birds that return to Pheasant Branch to nest or pass through on their way further north. We will look for and learn about cranes, bluebirds, warblers, raptors, waterfowl and ground-nesting birds that we see.

See the Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy on Facebook and check out http://tinyurl.com/MadisonFUNAdventures for a Trail Map and Fun Facts about Phenology and Climate Change. Free, welcoming, healthy, fairly accessible, family and kid friendly, educational, no registration required, no pets. Kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Fourth Saturday Every Month Guided Bird and Nature Adventures at Pheasant Branch are co-sponsored by Madison FUN partners Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, Wild Ones and Friends of Pheasant Branch. See their websites and Facebook pages for updates and more activities!

Meet at Orchid Heights Park shelter (3960 Valley Ridge Road), water and bathrooms available.
