Join the Middleton Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 6 – 7 p.m. for Opulent Palaces of Europe.

Europe has a long, colorful history of strong rulers who lived in palaces beyond comprehension. Joe Fahey will take you to four locations where outrageous extravagance ultimately led to downfall and political change.

Presenter Bio: Joe Fahey was raised near the farming community of Belleville, Wisconsin. After earning his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he embarked on a 40-year corporate career, residing in all four corners of the country. As an international marketing executive with several global companies, he had the privilege of meeting fascinating people and experiencing extraordinary adventures while traveling to the ends of the earth and places in between. He is now retired and shares his traveling adventures via his book, podcasts and live presentations throughout the Madison area.

Learn about Middleton’s history by taking a stroll with retired City Administrator and former Middleton Area Historical Society board member Mike Davis. There are several Stroll N’ Tell’ s throughout the summer, all from 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m (full list of dates below). The tours are leisurely strolls and are free. All will start from and end at the Rowley House, 7410 Hubbard Avenue (on-street parking available), which will be open at least one-half hour prior to stroll time.…
