ABOUT Markus J Music:

Markus J Music exudes a high-energy spirit, creating a fun atmosphere that will light up any room and entertain audiences of all ages. Mark’s a serious musician who doesn’t like to take himself too seriously — the type of guy who is as comfortable dressing up in costumes for kids’ bible camps, as well as donning a suit to play beautiful songs for friends’ weddings. All together, Mark knows how to captivate his audience with his soul and passion for music and his unique gift of storytelling. Making each song his own, Mark plays an upbeat mix of songs, covering everything from country, folk, and pop to contemporary Christian and classic rock ‘n roll.
Growing up in south central Wisconsin, Mark was a self-taught guitar player and a “singing-to-the-steering wheel” kind of guy. Now, as a seasoned, talented musician, he has a history of music behind him, including jammin’ with the local “old guy” bands, playing with a contemporary praise band, leading youth sing-alongs, and playing at weddings and funerals. Five years ago, Mark joined friends, Marcia and Sean Reimer, to create the acoustic trio “Moxie,” a talented, eclectic, full-energy band, with each of them taking turns as lead vocalist while adding seamless harmonies. Deciding it was also the right time to launch his solo career, Mark is now sharing his gift of music and entertainment at restaurants, breweries, wineries and other venues around Wisconsin.
