About Ian Gould:

Ian Gould, hailing from the city of Belfast in the north of Ireland, embarked on his musical journey at a young age, performing in bands across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. He studied music at the University of the Highlands and Islands in Perth, Scotland. With over three decades of international performances under his belt, Ian’s travels have taken him to vibrant cities, as far east as Moscow and as far west as San Francisco. While living in cities like London, Brussels, and Amsterdam, Ian added so much to his musical experiences. Now settled in the United States since gaining citizenship in 2015, Ian resides near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he continues to captivate audiences as a renowned solo artist, particularly in the vibrant Irish scene of the Midwest.

His talent has earned him accolades, including nominations for top solo performer and Best Acoustic Musician, and memorable invitations such as performing for President Michael D. Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin in Dublin.
