Take a trip to Northern Italy—no passport required! In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the food of one of Europe’s most unique mountain regions, straddling France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia, it’s known for its world-renowned cuisine. Working alongside Chef Matt Schieble and his team you will get to prepare a Winter menu that’s sure to warm you up as well as teach you some valuable cooking techniques that you can take with you!
What you’ll learn:
*Simple, approachable Italian cooking techniques
*Preparing a lemon dressing by hand
*Balancing flavors
*Creating a pan sauce that ties a dish together
*Marinating and grilling delicata squash
*Rolling fresh pasta and assembling delicate tortelli
*Making fresh ricotta
*Working with fresh herbs
*Rolling, frying, and filling cannoli
*Working with piping bags
