Join author Randy Hoffman from 6 to 7 p.m., April 7, at the Middleton Public Library to hear about his book, Great Nature Wisconsin.
Great Nature Wisconsin is a fun, practical guide for getting families outside. The book features 400 different spots across the state, offering everything from quick daily walks to full week-long adventures. Rather than just giving you a list of places to see, it suggests “immersion experiences” to help you and your kids connect with nature while you’re there. Come learn about potential places for your next nature-inspired getaway!
Author bio: Randy Hoffman is a retired DNR ecologist with nearly 30 years of experience in Wisconsin’s State Natural Areas Program. An expert birder and author, he has helped establish over 300 protected natural sites. He currently lives with his wife, JoAnn, in Waunakee, WI.
The author will be selling copies of Great Nature Wisconsin after the program.
Registration appreciated.
