Grab your family and friends and make plans to come to the free three-day festival that features live music, family activities, an art & craft fair, a 5k run/walk, and TWO parades!
Load up your beach towels, flip flops, sunnies, pink flamingos, board shorts, beach balls, and little drink umbrellas, because the 2026 Good Neighbor Festival is celebrating the beach life with a new "Greetings from South Beach" theme.
Join in on the summer fun at the Middleton High School grounds during festival hours:
- 5 - 11:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28
- 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29
- 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30

The Middleton Good Neighbor Festival is put on by a group of dedicated volunteers from Middleton service clubs and nonprofit organizations. By attending the festival, you’re supporting the good work these groups do in the community!
Entertainment
There's no shortage of live music at the festival. Multiple electric performances are held on the main stage each day. Pull up a chair, or get up front and rock out.

Parades
The Good Neighbor Festival loves parades so much that they have two! Learn about each of the parades below and see a map of parade routes here.
Aug. 28 Kiddie Parade
The Kiddie Parade kicks off the festival at 5:30 p.m., on Friday night. Lineup begins at 5 pm at the main entrance to Middleton High School on Bristol Street. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes, scooters, strollers, wagons or whatever means of transportation they will use through the parade.
The first 200 participants will receive a balloon at the start of the parade and can pick up a goodie bag from Infinity Martial Arts and other Good Neighbor businesses at the end of the parade.
Aug. 30 Parade
Sunday's Parade begins at noon, led by the heroes from the Middleton VFW, first responders and the 2026 Parade Marshal.
As parade entries pass the Reviewing Stand located at the intersection of Franklin Street and Coolidge Court, they are evaluated for overall entertainment value and representation of the festival theme for a chance to win a prize in one of several categories.
The parade route begins at the intersection of Franklin and Branch Streets, continues the length of Franklin, then turns north on Parmenter ending at the intersection of Parmenter and North Avenue.

Consider putting an entry in the parade! 501(c)3 non-profit groups pay no entry fees, and businesses and other entities pay a nominal fee in exchange for great community recognition and goodwill. Register here.
Arts and Crafts Fair
The Good Neighbor Festival Art Fair is a tradition going back decades. Shop for the holidays or something special just for you. The fair is not a juried show, but all vendors are required to handcraft all items that they sell. Enjoy beautiful jewelry, art, sculpture and needle arts.
Craft Fair Hours
- 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29
- 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30
5K Run/Walk
Kick off your morning with the Middleton Good Neighbor Fest 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 9:30 a.m.
It costs $35 for the run, $30 for the walk, and $20 for kids 12 and under and all proceeds benefit the Good Neighbor Fest nonprofit Trustee organizations.
Bingo
Join the Middleton Area Historical Society as they host bingo.
