Join Poppy Home & Gift as it partners with local baker, The Missing Pastry, for a spring cookie decorating event from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 24!

The theme will be “April Showers Bring May Flowers”, and guests will have the opportunity to decorate a variety of flower-shaped cookies in a beginner-friendly cookie decorating class — perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics (or take their entry-level skills up a notch) in a relaxed, creative environment!

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll decorate 6 beautiful cookies while learning essential techniques:

• Piping clean outlines and details

• Flooding for smooth, polished finishes

• Applying royal icing transfers

• Using wet-on-wet techniques to add patterns and dimension

No experience is needed and everything is provided, including pre-baked cookies, icing, transfers, and tools. By the end of class, you’ll take home your decorated cookies, my royal icing recipe, and the confidence to start decorating on your own.
