
Conservancy Days: Moths of the Conservancy

The City of Middleton’s Parks and Recreation is excited to invite you to the 2025 Conservancy Days series! Join them at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at the Middleton Public Library to hear moth enthusiast Angus Mossman.
Angus Mossman will share what might be happening just outside your window as darkness sets in. In addition to seeing some jaw-dropping creatures, this presentation will touch on the ecology and natural history of a variety of local moths and other nocturnal insects, and how they fit into the landscape of southern Wisconsin. There will also be a brief crash course on moth identification and what to keep an eye out for, should you get the ‘bug’ to start mothing yourself or join forthcoming blacklighting events at Pheasant Branch Conservancy.
