Join local author and bilingual educator Samira Alvarez Gretzinger for a joyful and interactive bilingual storytime based on her book Así Respiro (This Is How I Breathe) from 10 – 11 a.m., Dec. 6 at the Middleton Public Library.
Families will explore four creative breathing techniques through themed stations that blend mindfulness, art, and movement. Activities include a Wave Breath station with beach-themed crafts, a Heart Breath station with bracelet-making, a Butterfly Breath station with butterfly crafts, and a Star Breath station with scratch art. Children will also receive a special Así Respiro bookmark to take home. This program celebrates language, culture, and emotional well-being in a fun, family-friendly environment.
