Events
Join the hunt for eggs, meet the Easter bunny, or decorate your own eggs with several events in Middleton.
- 11 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., March 22, Natural Egg Dyeing: Join Chef Mike at Willy St. Co-op West for a hands-on natural egg dyeing demonstration. This event is $15 with RSVP required.
- 9 - 11 a.m., March 28, Egg Hunt Scramble: Catch a picture with the Easter Bunny, find candy-filled eggs, create a spring craft, hop around on inflatables, and enjoy family-friendly yard games all at Keva Sports Center. The event is $15 and RSVP is required.
- 10 - 11 a.m., March 28, Egg Hunt: Join Middleton Parks and Rec for an egg hunt at Bock Community Gardens. Registration must be done by March 25 and costs $5 to $7.
- 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., March 29, Egg Hunt: Expect lots of colorful eggs hidden throughout Poppy Home & Gift and Tradition Children's Market (plus some golden eggs hidden for the adults with exclusive discounts). This event is free but RSVP is required.
- 9 a.m. - noon, April 4, Easter Eggstravaganza: Spend a morning of fun at St.Luke's Lutheran Church for egg hunts, photo booth, crafts, face painting, games, bounce houses, and more! Free and no RSVP required.
- 10 - 11:30 a.m., April 4, Meet the Easter Bunny: Hop over to Miggy's Bakes for a bunny meet and greet, themed cookies, and a special egg surprise. Free but RSVP appreciated.
- 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., April 4, Egg Hunt: Join the Middleton Fire Company No.1 for its second annual egg hunt at Firemen's Park. Free and no RSVP required.
- 1 - 4 p.m., April 4, Egg Hunt: Infinity Martial Arts will have THOUSANDS of eggs ready to be found, plus free pictures with the easter bunny. Free but RSVP required.
- 2 -5 p.m., April 4, Easter Themed Cake Decorating: Embrace your crafty side with an Easter-themed cake decorating happy hour at Miggy's Bakes. The event costs $35, and an RSVP is required.

The holidays of Passover and Easter might bring more around your table, and what is better than a large family gathering than one where you don’t have to do the cooking?
Passover Catering
Passover begins April 1 and ends April 9. Here are two Madison establishments with kosher kitchens that offer a wide menu and include catering or pick-up.
Breakfast (or dessert) is served at Greenbush Bakery, a kosher donut shop with two locations in Madison. In Middleton, the drive-through coffee shop, Moka, sells Greenbush Bakery donuts. Check them both out online.
Adamah at UW Hillel is a kosher restaurant that offers catering. Check out its events page and online ordering.
Easter Brunch
Easter is on Sunday, April 5, and several Middleton restaurants are offering special brunch options.
Craftsman Table & Tap
Hop in for a family-friendly brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Sunday, April 5. Enjoy more than 30 mouthwatering dishes, including a variety of starters like lobster bisque, smoked salmon crostini and of course deviled eggs, plus breakfast favorites, hearty entrées, and tempting desserts. Kids can dig into their own pint-sized pancake bar, made just for them!

Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse
Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse is offering a full Easter brunch menu on Sunday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find traditional favorites like de burgo or Oscar eggs Benedict and crème brulé French toast, as well as more substantial offerings like steak and eggs. Prices vary per entree; call to make a reservation.
Hubbard Avenue Diner
At Hubbard Avenue Diner, breakfast is served all day, every day, allowing guests to sleep in and still enjoy classic morning favorites. Hubbard will be open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 5 and will have special themed frosted cookies all week long.
Prairie Café & Bakery
Local favorite Prairie Café & Bakery is open on Easter Sunday and serving its full, delicious breakfast from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Choose from more than 20 breakfast items, including freshly made pastries and made-to-order omelets (full menu here). And for those who aren't breakfast people, the cafe offers lunch options starting at 11 a.m. Reservations and walk-ins are welcome.
After your meal, take advantage of Prairie Café’s prime location — Pheasant Branch Conservancy is just minutes away and offers the perfect setting for a post-brunch stroll.
Join the crew at Paul’s Neighborhood Bar for an Easter celebration. Open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday, April 5, the bar will offer a limited breakfast menu.
