With more than 60 wines, a flight is the best way to discover a new favorite at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant. For guests enjoying the fine dining experience or cozying up to the bar, several flight options are available daily, priced $19 - $23. Choose one of four wine flight categories:

  • Bubbles - Lux Sparkling, Prosecco, Bubbly Rose, Almond Sparkling
  • White- Sauvignon Blanch, White, Chardonnay, Moscato
  • Red - Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah
  • Cooper’s Hawk Lux- Sparkling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meritage

Looking for a deal? Wine O’Clock Happy Hour (3 – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) offers a refreshing sangria flight for only $17. This includes four full-sized sangrias in flavors like Strawberry Fields, Papa Don’t Reach, Raspberry Beret and Rum in Da Coconut — an ideal way to unwind after a day of shopping at Greenway Station.

For a quicker visit, the front lobby features a Napa-style tasting room where guests can experience guided tastings of eight wines for $12 - $17. The tasting wines change monthly but fall into the category of sweet, lux or variety. No reservations are required, making it an easy stop for anyone in Middleton.

While Grape Water Wine Bar doesn’t offer traditional wine flights, the fun and easy self-service system lets guests create their own. Guests simply grab a card from the bar, head to the wine dispenser, scan the card and select a wine and pour size (2.5 oz for creating a custom flight). This unique system allows visitors to try any of the 16 wine options before committing to a full glass of their favorite.

Since opening in 1984, Capital Brewery has won more than 240 awards for its beer and a flight offers the perfect way to experience a little bit of everything. Flights feature six tasting-sized beers, with more than a dozen options available (see what's currently on tap). Choose from year-round classics like Mutiny IPA, Supper Club Lager, Wisconsin Amber, and Sticky Paw Blonde Ale or explore seasonal brews, limited-edition small batches, stouts, sours, shandies and more.

If looking for guidance, we recommend starting with Capital Brewery’s most award-winning beer — Munich Dark, a traditional European Dunkel lager with dark caramel malt flavors and a smooth, dry finish. The real challenge? Deciding on the other five beers.

Hidden Cave Cidery offers an excellent way to explore the diverse world of hard ciders with its $15 cider flights, where guests can select four locally made ciders to sample. The cidery provides an online list of what’s currently on tap, but it’s also worth following their social media for updates on innovative and limited-edition batches in the works, like the delicious strawberry lime smoothie made with blended strawberries, freshly hand-squeezed limes, Wisconsin honey and cider. The cidery’s patio is open for the season, offering the perfect spot to enjoy a crisp apple cider while attending outdoor music nights and food truck events (see event calendar). What makes it even better is that well-trained, leashed dogs can join as drinking buddies. Owner and cider maker Walker Fanning often works behind the bar, eager to share his knowledge of the cider-making process and provide personalized suggestions for finding the perfect cider for every visitor.

Level up brunch with a mimosa, or go all in with four. Available during Craftsman Table & Tap’s brunch hours (9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday), this mimosa flight features four mini mimosas. Starting with a classic mimosa made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, the flight then ventures into unique flavors like mango, sweet hibiscus and vanilla peach.

If beer, cider, or champagne isn’t your thing, Ancho & Agave, located in Greenway Station, has the perfect solution with a tequila flight. The flight includes four different types of tequila: Blanco (unaged), Reposado (barrel-aged for 2–12 months), and Añejo Milagro (barrel-aged for 1–3 years). It’s the perfect stop after spending the day golfing at the nearby Pleasant View Golf Course.
