Pleasant View Golf Course offers championship golf that is not only open to the public but offers spectacular panoramic views of Middleton and Madison’s west sides.
The course is located just seven minutes from downtown Middleton, five minutes from Greenway Station, and about 20 minutes from downtown Madison. Pleasant View is open to residents and visitors — just make sure to book your tee time in advance. At this time, the course isn’t accepting walk-ups.
Pleasant View Golf Course provides a complete golfing experience. Enjoy 27 holes of well-maintained, championship golf, a nine-hole scenic par 3 course and an outstanding practice range. The course was awarded Gold in Madison Magazine’s Best of Golf Courses for 2018, 2019 and 2020 and Silver in 2021.
Mature trees and prairies line much of the course with native wildflowers framing some of the fairways.
The golf course gets its name for a reason. Situated about 300 feet above Lake Mendota, higher points of the course offer views going on for miles, including the state capitol building in downtown Madison.
Relax with friends on a newly remodeled patio with two fire pits, just off the clubhouse. The patios feature comfortable gathering spaces and WiFi.

The grill offers Wisconsin bar fare such as cheese curds, fried pickle spears, burgers, sandwiches, and more. The Grill also serves light breakfast options — like English muffins and bagels — and the heartier Hole-N-One breakfast, all before 11 a.m. See a menu here.
