Middleton and Madison are excited to announce that the 2022 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women’s World Championships will be held in Middleton and Madison June 6-13. The games — with eight international teams — will be held at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton and the LaBahn Arena on the University of Wisconsin’s campus.

The tournament will be split into two groups:
- Group A, consisting of the United States, Canada, Finland and Sweden, will play their preliminary round games at LeBahn Arena.
- Group B, which features Czechia, Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia, will play its preliminary round games at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena.
- The medal round, including bronze and gold-medal games, will be staged at LaBahn.
