Discover nature's bounty every Thursday, rain or shine.

Enjoy locally grown fruits, vegetables and flowers, plus cheeses, honey and more as you explore the shopping, dining and entertainment at Greenway Station Shopping Center. Local vendors will offer their finest produce to the community from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each Thursday from May 13 through October 14. The market is located off Deming Way, in the parking area near T.G.I. Friday’s. Other featured products include meats, gourds and gluten free and other baked goods and more.

Ashley Furniture HomeStore and Erehwon Mountain Outfitter Coming to Greenway Station July 09, 2010 - September 10, 2010

Greenway Station Shopping Center will see the opening of Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Labor Day and Erehwon Mountain Outfitter in October. The Ashley Furniture HomeStore will offer a full line of furniture and furnishings for the home. Erehwon will feature outdoor equipment for camping, backpacking, climbing, kayaking, travel and snow sports.



Congratulations Capital Brewery! July 20, 2010 - October 20, 2010

Four Wisconsin breweries, including Capital Brewery in Middleton, have taken home gold medals from the U.S. Open Beer Championships in Atlanta. Capital Brewery won gold medals in the American Premium Lager category for its recently released Supper Club and in the Bock category for its Capital Mai Bock. The brewery also won bronze medals in the German Lager/Pilsner category for its Capital Pilsner; in the Marzen/Oktoberfest category for its Capital Fest and in the Dopple/Strong Bock category for its Eisphyre. Maui Brewing in Lahaina, Hawaii, was ranked the top brewery based on points per medal. Sprecher placed second and Capital Brewery placed eighth.

Hundreds of motorcyclists will ride together in a visually stunning column, beginning and ending at Fireman’s Park in Middleton. Their goal is to raise money for research into pediatric brain tumors, which are the deadliest type of childhood cancer. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:45 a.m. Ride leaves at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine.

National Night Out is an opportunity for communities nationwide to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie. This year’s festivities will include free food, door prizes, DJ, children’s games/activities, VIP dunk tank and participation by our Fire Department, EMS, Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies including K-9 and mounted (horse) patrols. Med-Flight and Blackhawk helicopters have also been invited. Citizens will be able to tour the squad cars, fire apparatus and ambulance and have a chance to meet and talk to Officers, Paramedics and Firefighters.

This fun-filled day for the whole family will run from 10 to 4pm, rain or shine, at the corner of Parmenter and Hubbard. Join us for a whole lot of fun!

Help benefit South African AIDS orphans and vulnerable children at the 5th annual Africa Alive at Capital Brewery  from 2pm until 8pm. Africa Alive is a fundraiser from which 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to benefit AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in Southern Africa. Entertainment will include: WADOMA West African Dance, Tani Diakite and Tony Castaneda, African drumming and Spoken Word Poetry. Children’s activities include a Children’s Costume Contest, drumming and crafts. (Children are encouraged to come in costume). There will also be brewery tours, live and silent auctions, jugglers, face painters, African crafts, international cuisine, door prizes and more.
