  • Middleton Community Orchestra's Winter Concert

    February 29, 2012, 7:30 pm-9:30 pm
    Middleton Performing Arts Center
    The Middleton Community Orchestra's Winter Concert features three works: John Henry by Aaron Copland, Firebird Suite by Igor Stravinsky and Schelomo by Ernest Bloch, with cello soloist Jordan Allen. Jordan Allen began playing the cello at the age of 10 in his native Wisconsin. He has performed in many venues throughout the United States and Canada, including Carnegie Hall. Currently a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a winner of the Collins Distinguished Graduate Fellowship, he plays with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and teaches in the Madison area.

    Tickets are $10 for general admission. Students and retirement home residents are free. Tickets are available at the door and at Willy St. Coop West.
