Farmers Markets

Middleton, Wisconsin’s two farmers markets offer farm-fresh produce, flowers, meats and baked goods

Middleton may be home to a sophisticated scene of spas, stylish shops and elegant restaurants, but we’re also in the heart of farm country! Drop in on one of Middleton’s farmers markets for fresh honey, asparagus and so many other flavors. It’s one of the best ways to experience spring and summer in the Good Neighbor City.

There are two farmers markets in Middleton during harvest seasons. The farmers market at Greenway Station is open every Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, beginning in May and ending in October. This farmers market is located in the parking area near TGI Friday’s. Locals and visitors alike stop by on Thursday mornings to discover what’s in season each week. Market-goers enjoy on-site demonstrations, get tips from master gardeners and learn more about community groups and their causes. Parking is plentiful at the mall for those who attend this farmers market.

The downtown farmers market is open every Tuesday from May-October. The market opens at 3:00 pm and closes at 6:30 pm. Located in the parking lot off of Terrance Ave in downtown Middleton, stop in at this market for local greens, flowers and produce. In the late summer you’ll find strawberries, corn and pumpkins at this farmers market. Vendors are always on hand and usually happy to talk about their farms, produce and stories.
